The probably last update (vs 1.0706) before the summerholidays 2007 of my site is now online.

This time there are no many changes to report, most important is that the Irish campsites along the autoways are added.
We didn’t receive any mail with corrections on the gps-positions , so we haven’t any changes on this point.

If you use this summer our poi’s and you find any mistake (which we don’t hope of course), please report us by using the mailboxes on our sites, so we are able to achieve the highest level of perfection in the future!

Bueno ya he descargado ese archivo con los pdi de campings europeos. Ahora lo descomprimo y la duda la tengo en donde lo meto, ¿En la SD donde tengo el mapa?

Lo siento Tuga, tengo una Pda+Gps y los admite sin ningún problema en la tarjeta SD, pero no se como hay que hacer para ponerlos en el TomTom One Europa, a ver si algún compañero que lo conozca lee el mensaje y nos dice como hay que hacerlo.

Hola a todos. Acabo de descargar los campigs para Europa para el destinator NP que tengo instalado en la PDA( una HP Ipad con mobile 2003). Pero no se como los coloco para que sean PDI's.

Bueno me imagino que tienes el mapa de europa, yo lo hago de dos formas, si tienes lector de tarjetas en el ordenador, la insertas, abres el mapa western europe y pegas los pdis, si no dispones de lector de tarjetas, lo haces mediante el programa active sync, en cuanto este sincronizado te aparecera arriba derecha una carpeta "explorar" la pinchas y en el menu clicas sobre mi dispositivo. Ahi te aparece la tarjeta sd. copiar y pegar.

Espero que te enteres. Tremendo rollo acabo de soltar jejejej

Hola a todos. Acabo de descargar los campigs para Europa para el destinator NP que tengo instalado en la PDA( una HP Ipad con mobile 2003). Pero no se como los coloco para que sean PDI's.

Copio y pego un pequeño manual que conservo de cuando usaba Destinator:


MANUAL DE CONVERSIÓN DE PDIs PARA DESTINATOR

Hay que tener instalados en el PC la consola de Destinator y el programa POIEdit.


1.- Doble click sobre el fichero .ov2 que se desea convertir. Se abrirá POIedit mostrando los datos del fichero.

2.- Una vez abierto, vamos al menú: File – Save As...
Pones un nombre y seleccionas como tipo de fichero: Destinator Comma Separated (*.csv)

3.- Convertir el fichero .csv en un fichero .dat:

- Abre la consola de Destinator, selecciona el mapa estándar y se activará el icono “Importador de Favoritos”

- Pulsa el icono “Importador de Favoritos”,

- Selecciona el fichero *.csv que has creado.



El nombre de la categoría lo importa solo, pero lo puedes modificar a voluntad.
Una vez seleccionado, pulsa el botón convertir

En la zona de informe nos dará el report de actividad:


El registro defectuoso que puede aparecer es debido a la primera línea del fichero, nada grave, lo importante es que haya cargado el resto de registros
¿y donde está nuestro deseado .dat?

La respuesta es:
en el directorio C:\DestinatorApps\Installer\Console\IndepIndep\Favorites

Ahora sólo nos queda pasar el fichero .dat a la carpeta de favoritos del PPC que es:
\DestinatorApps\Destinator\Common\Favorites

Para ello puedes arrastrar desde el explorador de archivos de windows a la ventana de tu PPC que debe estar conectada al ordenador:

Gracias, si lo he resuelto entre tu ayuda y el compañero que contestó despues. El problema ahora es que mi PDA lleva dos tarjetas una donde el destinator suelta los mapas y la otra sd que creo hace de memoria residente y es ahi donde esta colocado el fichero dentro de favoritos. Hasta aqui todo correcto, pero debe ser un poco pesado el fichero de camping pues se queda colgado cuando desde favoritos quiero ver la lista de camping. ¿ Te pasa lo mismo????. No tengo nada mas que los camping??

Mi TOMTOM UNO EUROPA V4 los mapas se carga en la memoria interna del TOMTOM, cuando pongo la tarjeta ele mi ordena para sacala.


Nadie tiene un EXCEL con los coordenadas, ellos del cabinete de archivo a poder poner la mano como pi.

Tuga, para verlos en Excel descárgalos del recuadro que pone: Medion "Dowload asc files" que es el que sirve para Navigón, Medión y Vía Michelín, una vez que descomprimas los archivos los podrás ver en Excel.

August the 1th the latest update 1.0708 (1. 1th annual, 07 year, 08 month) of my website is published in the meantime with more as 15000 campsites in total.

What is new?
Where necessary the positions of the entries of the campsites are adjusted, new campsites are added and campsites which are closed have been removed.
The CampingCheque file has been actualised.

The file Euro10000 has been expanded to Euro11000. Please notice that the positions of te campsites in this file (in contrast to the other files) have not been checked by ourselves!

Tonight vs 1.0709 of Archie’s Snelwegampings has set online.

Thanks to the enormous efforts of my Flemish partner Parafoeter a few hundreds new campsites are added to the poi’s, also along the highways in Eastern-Europe! The CampingCheque-file is expanded by him with the newest participants.

Unfortunately we had to remove a few campsites that didn’t exist no longer.
The euro11000-file (not located and not controlled by ourselves) is getting more and more accurate thanks to e-mails of attentive users of my poi’s.

· closed campsites?
· campsites missing in our files?
· wrong gps-positions?
· please send us an e-mail!

Unfortunately in my update of yesterday a terrible mistake has been made in the file of CampingCheque campings. Longitude and latitude were changed, so all the CC-campsites were placed in Africa and the Indian Ocean.
In the meantime this error has been removed and you can download the right positions again.

All the other files were correct.

POI’s for about 16000 European campsites

Hello,

The first update in 2008 (vs. 1.0801) of Archiescampings is online.
Besides a few adjustments to the other three poi-files, this time as promised we have worked hard to improve the euro11000-file.
In the meantime more as 1000 campsites of the 11000 have been checked and if necessary adjusted. More info you will find in a little word-file which is added to the download.

In principle this is my last announcement of an update of Archiescampings in this forum.
One reason is that it is a little embarrassing to me to announce every time my own work, the most important reason is that it takes an enormous amount of time to do so, because my website is now mentioned in almost 200 forums all over Europe.

On my website you can see now under the tab News what’s new in the latest update. (If you have the intention to visit Portugal or Norway, you certainly must take a look!)

Thanks to the enormous efforts of Parafoeter who has located all these campsites, I was able to publish a new “special” in which you find almost all French campsites. Among these campsites you will find a lot of “municipals” and little campsites. Information about the names of the cities and the department numbers has been added as additional information.
NB: These 9000 French campsites will not been found all (yet) in the large euro12000-file.
