I am very sorry that I don't spek your language, so I leave my message here in English and I hope that someone of you can translate it here in the messageboard in your own language.

It was a surprise for me to found my site here on this messageboard. Since then there is a lot more to find on my site and it is now in Dutch, English, French and German.

You can download POI's for most used navigations systems for:
- 3800 campings along the West-European highways
- 550 campings associated with CampingCheque
- 1100 campings associated with CampingCard ACSI
- 8000 selected campings in Europe.

ALL FREE!

I will appreciate that you announce my site in other messageboards so many people as possible can use the results of our work.

The probably last update (vs 1.0706) before the summerholidays 2007 of my site is now online.

This time there are no many changes to report, most important is that the Irish campsites along the autoways are added.
We didn’t receive any mail with corrections on the gps-positions , so we haven’t any changes on this point.

If you use this summer our poi’s and you find any mistake (which we don’t hope of course), please report us by using the mailboxes on our sites, so we are able to achieve the highest level of perfection in the future!

August the 1th the latest update 1.0708 (1. 1th annual, 07 year, 08 month) of my website is published in the meantime with more as 15000 campsites in total.

What is new?
Where necessary the positions of the entries of the campsites are adjusted, new campsites are added and campsites which are closed have been removed.
The CampingCheque file has been actualised.

The file Euro10000 has been expanded to Euro11000. Please notice that the positions of te campsites in this file (in contrast to the other files) have not been checked by ourselves!

Please don’t hesitate to send us an email with your comments!

Hello to all of you,

Tonight vs 1.0709 of Archie’s Snelwegampings has set online.

Thanks to the enormous efforts of my Flemish partner Parafoeter a few hundreds new campsites are added to the poi’s, also along the highways in Eastern-Europe! The CampingCheque-file is expanded by him with the newest participants.

Unfortunately we had to remove a few campsites that didn’t exist no longer.
The euro11000-file (not located and not controlled by ourselves) is getting more and more accurate thanks to e-mails of attentive users of my poi’s.

· closed campsites?
· campsites missing in our files?
· wrong gps-positions?
· please send us an e-mail!

Unfortunately I have made in my update of yesterday a terrible error in the file of CampingCheque campings. Longitude and latitude were changed, so all the CC-campsites were placed in Africa and the Indian Ocean.
In the meantime this error has been removed and you can download the right positions again.

All the other files were correct.

The first update in 2008 (vs. 1.0801) of Archiescampings is online.
Besides a few adjustments to the other three poi-files, this time as promised we have worked hard to improve the euro11000-file.
In the meantime more as 1000 campsites of the 11000 have been checked and if necessary adjusted. More info you will find in a little word-file which is added to the download.

Among these campsites you will find a lot of “municipals” and little campsites. Information about the names of the cities and the department numbers has been added as additional information.
NB: These 9000 French campsites will not been found all (yet) in the large euro12000-file.

Yo creo que miomap 3.2 es igual que igo my way plus 2.006 y ahi no se podía meter ningun poi, o era muy dificil. Si te gusta miomap, lo mas parecido es Igo 8 y ahi si se pueden meter pois, aparte de que los mapas estan actualizados.

The newest and also the last version before the summer season of poi’s for the European campsites is now online.
New in the update are two try-out versions for users of the latest Navigon systems and the users of Nokia Maps. Please do read the comments under the news button and the attached text files in the downloads.
Especially the visitors of Italy, Portugal and Eastern European countries I ask to help me, because I strongly suspect that there are many campsites which still miss in my files. Please send me after your return as much as possible all the relevant information (name, location and GPS position) about these sites.

Mapa Iberia 865.3259 (este dato lo saco clickeando sobre donde poner version, abajo del simbolo de la pila.

Pero si entro dentro de la tarjeta sd en las carpetas no veo donde se localiza el mapa.

Otra pregunta, esta version de mapa de Iberia es actual o hay posteriores que son mejores?

Update 01-03-2012 of Archiescampings is online now.

In this update special attention is paid to France which resulted in lots of changes. Unfortunately hundreds of campsites had to be deleted and if necessary positions have been adjusted. Fortunately it was also possible to add a couple of dozens new campsites.
For the users of Sygic on iPhone or iPad, as well as Android systems, some good news: the required rupi-format is now available in the downloads as a beta version.

Lo que se anunciaba como una web de descarga para unos 13.000 puntos de interés de campings ha alcanzado 30.000 y para mi es la mejor web de POIs, podéis visitarla en ARCHIESCAMPINGS (http://www.archiescampings.eu/spa1/)

Yo tengo instalada en la tablet la aplicación de archies u ella sola actualiza los nuevos camping de vez en cuando.
No es por hacerle la publicidad, pero por dos euros que me costo la app funciona de maravilla

Estaba pensando en comprar esta aplicación para el iPad, pero una duda, la aplicación te da datos del camping? precio, numero de parcelas, fotos, servicios, ... o sólo te da su ubicación y datos de contacto.
